The mounting flange is hand ported after welding to optimize gas flow from cylinder head to the CNC mandrel bent primaries. Hand TIG welding utilizing back purging is used to prevent weld porosity and to maximize strength. It takes up to 16 hours to painstakingly craft each header by hand.
